Member Benefits
Membership Types
Full Membership
Full Membership is available to organisations that have been engaged in direct selling within Australia for 12 months, although the Board is able to waive this requirement for individual circumstances. The primary condition for Membership is that Members strictly comply with our Code of Practice. This defines the standards of behaviour expected between Members, their salespeople, and consumers.
Provisional Membership
Provisional Membership allows an applicant to enjoy the benefits of Membership, other than voting rights, while they undergo at least twelve months evaluation of their suitability for Full Membership. Satisfactory business performance throughout this period allows progression to Full Membership.
Life Membership
Life Membership is conferred on individuals who are inducted into DSAA's Hall of Fame. The award recognises exceptional service to both the DSAA and the direct selling industry. Life Members do not have voting rights but are eligible to participate in other activities and may also be office holders.

Supplier Membership
The direct selling industry relies extensively on external suppliers for many support services. We offer Supplier Membership to organisations and individuals who provide these services.
Supplier Membership allows suppliers to become part of the direct selling community. The exposure it brings to industry leaders and issues lets suppliers bring understanding of the industry's management and operational structure to the supply of services. Supplier Membership and the responsibility it brings is a ready assurance to Members of a commitment to the industry.
Suppliers must be nominated for Membership by a Full Member having at least a 12 month business relationship with the supplier. A supplier must also have been in business for at least two years and be willing to comply with any relevant DSAA professional standards.
