Governance

The Direct Selling Association of Australia Inc is incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1984 (New South Wales).

Governance of the Association rests with the Board of Directors. DSAA’s Board comprises representatives of nine full members who are elected annually by members at the DSAA’s Annual General Meeting. The DSAA’s Chairperson and Vice Chairpersons are also elected at that meeting. The Chairperson cannot serve more than three consecutive terms, but may serve additional terms. The Executive Director acts as DSAA’s Secretary and is an ex-officio member of the Board without voting rights.

Management of the DSAA’s business is the responsibility of the Executive Director, who reports to the Board of Directors. A number of Committees have been established to assist with Association business. The Association is also served by well trained staff and professional consultants.

DSAA’s financial year ends 31 March.

Hall of Fame – Life Members

DSAA's Board recognises industry leaders who have made outstanding contributions to the industry, DSAA and their respective organisations, by inducting them into DSAA's Hall of Fame. Membership of the DSAA Hall of Fame confers life membership on the recipient.
